At first glance, absorbent pads and pillows don’t seem too different: A pillow is thicker than a pad, and slightly more expensive.

Oil Absorbent Pillow
Oil Absorbent pillow only absorbent oil or fuel, and it expels water.
Absorbent pillows are used in both internal and external spill situations. Most common where fluids, (oils, chemicals etc.) have pooled or accumulated in one area.
Our absorbent pillows have a super absorbent filling that means that once absorbed, the maintenance (yellow) version will give you almost 100% retention of fluid.
ABSORBENT PILLOW TYPES
Oil and fuel Absorbents are white. They are hydrophobic and repel water.
This allows for the absorption of oil and fuel without absorbing water itself.
Ideal for indoor or outdoor use cleaning up spills on or around water.
Choose these absorbents where hydrocarbons are the main and likely contaminant such as hydraulic hoses, fuel stores and marinas.
Chemical Absorbent pillow is yellow and work as both a Universal absorbent and Hazchem absorbent to absorb a wider range of liquids.
These absorbents will pick up water, oils, fuels, diesel, coolant, general workplace chemicals, and common agricultural chemicals, oxidizers, acids, and caustics.
Since these absorbents also pick up water, they are not recommended for oil-on-water spills.
